Inside My Head.

If you step inside my head with me,

This is what you would see:

Wheels constantly turning,

‘Cause my brain never turns off.

You’d see this dark corner,

With negative thoughts,

And a monster.

You’d see a light bulb,

That’s always shining,

‘Cause I’m a bright kid.

If you step inside my head with me,

This is what you would hear:

The voice of lies,

Telling me I’m stupid,

I’m fat and ugly,

And that nobody cares.

You’d hear the voice of truth,

Telling me I’m beautiful,

I’m intelligent and talented,

And that I am loved.

You’d hear a war,

Between those two voices,

And it never stops.
