Heavenly Tears.

As I look to the sky, and I see the stars fall as if the heavens cry.
I know not what cause is nor do I care as my heart cries in unison as the stars fall.
When my heart can not continue, I close my eyes so the stars can't pry.
But then the shadow of guilt stands tall,
and I can not shake the felling that I am at blame,
as I open my eyes for a final sight.
The sorrow to great for my heart to tame,
I sleep, knowing I have lost the fight.
