Memories

She lays down,

As the cold waves fall,

and rush around her.

They fill her head

with past memories.

Some happy, some sad,

many confusing,

Most painfully defined.

The one that stands out,

the most,

is of a beautiful face.

the darkest hair,

a most special smile,

innocent,

yet guilty.

This face is that of,

a best friend.

He is loyal, trust-worthy,

honour-bound, sweet, kind.

And many other wonderful things.

Momentarily, she gets captivated.

it's done by his brief yet,

calming touch.

She wakes with,

the sun beating down hard,

one her face.

She's become addicted to

these dreams,

these past months.

It surprises her

how much they make

her smile.

She loves the thrill

of the dreams,

They make her remember

the face she so often forgets.

The memories she wants

forever in her head,

The sound of her one of

her Best Friends voices.

The kisses she gave him,

one outside of English,

the other during Biology.

Yeah, she remembers all of those memoires.
