Not Quite a Valentines Day Song

I wish could write a poem about valentines day
But I cannot hold a pen long enough, to hide my dismay
So its damn good job I write everything using a keyboard
Cause a pen might shake like Michael j fox’s hands, now that’s awkward thought
Because the sadness I’m single every time
The dates feburary 14th, and thus its valentines
So I can’t love a lover for there is not when there
But I wanna be part of the crowd, so I thought might share

But I’d be better off writing a song, to the queens left heaving clavicle
And than in my fantasy we all got naked and had a big sabbatical
I don’t mean the fantastical, quirky or too radical
I just wanna write a valentines song, that might be slightly factual
So heres my valentines day, and every event is actual
I had a nap, lamenated my life, and woke up with a head ache
Sat on my bed, massaged my head… and wondered the cure for this heart break
For I am single, I must mingle, and find someone to take
But if I’m not careful, I’ll be married, 30 and lamenting my mistake
So happy valentines day, and love yourself, you git, for goodness sake

So that all there is I know that was a quicky
But now we’re above the sheets, we can have some tea and bickies’
And call your boss with love sickness and say I need a sicky
Love yourself.. but not too much, or the sheets will end up sticky!
