A Ode To My Best Friend

A terrible duo: that's us
Some people stop and ask, "What's wrong with them?"
But just to create confusion I say,
"I could care less," but she says "It's just us being us."

From first grade 'till now, it's been a long time
Sometimes I think we knew each other from when the sun started to shine
Don't fret, don't fear, for I'll always be here
And I know that you'll always be by my side

Computer nerds, geeks, and weirdos are exactly what we are
But I wouldn't change that for even all the stars
One hundred thousand million, plus the Milky Way
I don't think I remember the last time I've been without you more than a single day

You're my best friend-
Scratch that-
A sister, I mean,
And anyone that doubts that will have to go through me.
