Introducerea
I am Beatty's broken heart
Bent backwards, beaten, and bleeding
And between ragged breaths, continues beating.
I am Cameron's shattered skull
Sharp fragments of dull matter
That still mull over how they shattered.
I am your injured sense of pride.
We are Margarette's shaking fingers
Panic on us like a glove
As, with silent words, we destroy what we love.
We are the hands pressed tight against your throat
So that your own words remain silent.
Bent backwards, beaten, and bleeding
And between ragged breaths, continues beating.
I am Cameron's shattered skull
Sharp fragments of dull matter
That still mull over how they shattered.
I am your injured sense of pride.
We are Margarette's shaking fingers
Panic on us like a glove
As, with silent words, we destroy what we love.
We are the hands pressed tight against your throat
So that your own words remain silent.

Introducing....a collection of literary devices I did for English a long time ago. I can say only one thing in that class's defense: at least it gave me tangible achievements to reflect on.
PS: I am not a poet. So please forgive my mediocrity.
