Tunnel Vision

I want her to know,
I want her to see,
I just want to show,
How much i care about thee,
But lest she tear away,
From the one who bodes her ill,
Avert her eyes,
From the one whom doesn't feel,
She would be struck down,
Her feelings torn asunder,
And in turn,
I would wonder,
How she does not see,
That i care about her,
And through the trials,
And miles of pain,
I want nothing more than to end this game,
I wish for nothing more,
Than to make her mine,
Why cant she see,
that i have her on my mind,
I just want to hold her,
Close and dear to me,
But its so hard to tell her,
What she means to me,
In the background i wait,
For the one day,
When everything may yet turn my way,
But until then,
all i can do is wait,
and feel the want,
to be cared for too.
