Just Keep Running

Men in greens, so stern and grim.
No innocence, we all have sins.
Just keep running.

Families torn, no friend to trust.
Dispute and anger, savage disgust.
Just keep running.

The warming earth, lifts from the ground,
A continuous blow, becomes a moderate sound.
Just keep running.

I look back to see my siblings at hand,
No one the enemy, but greed of the land.
So I don't keep running, I turn to face,
And through all the sufferings, I'm not a disgrace.
And I see my friends and family still at the hands of another,
And though they fight so savagely, I still see my native brother.

For we are all human beast,
To one and all, to lies we feast.
Through the hardships, I had no part,
But I say this now, with an empty heart,

Just keep running.
