Cotton Candy

I've been hating myself a lot lately,
It seems, you break me down easily.
They way you say, we'll live out all our dreams.
You keep me up and always losing my mind.

Can't keep up with all the words I try to speak,
If you keep talking then I swear I'll never leave.
Wont fate tell me what to say to you so I,
can make the hurt go away.

But how could you know just what I mean,
(I can't lie) I can't lie if you never hear me.
And who would be dumb enough to to try,
(I can't lie) I can't lie if words don't leave me.

And in the night the scars wont show,
a memory lost and forgotten,
cutting wrists the first grade paper,
with a silver, sharpened razor.

Can't keep up with all the words I try to speak,
but if you're talking then I'm never gunna leave.
If you're in, then I'm in,
let's see what a mess we will get in.

But how could you know just what I mean,
(I can't lie) I can't lie if you never hear me.
And who would be dumb enough to to try,
(I can't lie) I can't lie if words don't leave me.

I know I don't speak my mind,
but I promise there's nothing to hide.
Lost in all these city lights,
There's this spark inside your eyes.
