Child of War

The child of war,
Constantly searches for his fight.
He was born a warrior.
Bred specifically for this night.
The giant of an opponent
Holds the title of world's strongest.
The child's blood races
To prepare for this new test.
"I will defeat you
And forever seal my title."
Because the giant knows
The child is only a disciple.
The battle is long, tiring, and fierce
Then all becomes silent save the pound of his heart.
Hanging from the ropes, the child listens for cheers,
But the crowd's in shock because the giant fell apart.
Begging for mercy
At the feet of a child.
Understand this is no legend.
For war, we bred this perfect child.
