EntryTwelve

Little girl
With the big brown eyes and unkempt hair
With the sheepish smile and naive lungs
With the virgin lips and the sunny eyes,
The honey-sweet laughs and the sugary sighs
Stupid child with the golden heart
And the tan skinny legs
Scratched on brambles and concrete
The boyish frame,
And the white, lovely soul
Where did you go?
Swallowed by shadows and stretched skin
A womanly figure,
And fast-lane years
You disappeared,
Gone.
Poof.
In a puff of smoke,
In a lingering kiss
In a sharp, seductive look
In a carnal stroke
You were carried out to sea
You were forgotten
