When things don't seem to go to plan,
And life gets in the way,
Just close your eyes and make a wish,
for a better brighter day.

Put all the bad behind you,
And leave it in the past,
Pray to god for happiness,
And that this bad day is your last.

Forget people who have wronged you,
And have made your life pure hell,
For you will be left standing tall,
And they'll be the ones that fell.

Each person out there rich or poor,
No matter what your age,
Can change their life from bad to good,
If they just start another page.

Your life is like a story,
Written in a book,
So when things don't seem to good,
Just take a second look.

Things get hard but that's just life,
You'll get there in the end,
But never fake a smile,
You don't need to pretend.

So be happy with what you have,
Don't be taken for a fool,
For when your older you will see,
It's not that bad at all.

Be proud of who you are today,
And happy you will be,
When people ask you who you are,
