Still Green and Giving

Even though a tree falls
Does not mean it stops living.
The roots in earth hold tight,
The leaves still green and giving.

With horizon branches
And vertical roots,
The fruit still grows
Though not upwards it shoots.

Even though a tree falls
Does not mean it stops living.
It's life goes on, though
It's fallen stance a misgiving.
