Never Allow Yourself to Start Running

Sometimes I wish that I could just disappear,
So that all of the pain and all of the hurt,

May perchance happen to disappear
One day.
Then I realize that I am too proud,
That I am a person who is not a runner.

And also I then acknowledge the thought that,
You can’t start to run,

For if you ever start to run,
Then you never will be able to stop your feet.
