Purity and Vulnerability

From the instant we exist
We are naked.
The clothes which bind us
Are the words we spin.
And the weather that clothes us
Are the eyes looking in.
From the instant we open ourselves
We are naked.
But then we fall...
Then they push us...
And while we crawl,
We experience insecurity flanking us.
We realize what can harm us...
But even clothing can be cold.
