Don't Go

You want to go, you want to leave.
How it pains me, can't you see?
You want to fly, you want to be free.
A world void of you is one that I cannot see.
With me is where you belong.
You leave for your happiness, but what if you're wrong?
You told me that I would no longer need you.
Somewhere deep you know it to be untrue.
You see me as an adult, that I can handle it.
I know I am not and cannot deal with this.
I can only plead; I can only beg that you don't go.
