Apologies in Sincerity

I'm sorry I'm not fun.
I'm sorry that spiders and lightning come from my lips rather than clouds and warm breezes.
I'm sorry for my fault of mistaking sincerity for flattery and flattery for sincerity.
I'm sorry that my idea of happiness is a shoulder and his eyes.
I'm sorry for abandoning the gardens when the flowers should still be in bloom.
I'm sorry that my thoughts are twisted into knots and my breathing in comparable.
I'm sorry I need this to be whole.
I'm sorry my apologies aren't enough.
I'm sorry in advance.
I'm sorry I'm not fun.

Just a heads up, my poems are almost always really personal and depressing
