But no one knows the reason why
It's not just because of the youth of today
It's because of the morals you made up yesterday

Guilty consciences are so hard to bear
Tolerance doesn't mean anyone cares

All we want are easy answers
A cure for sadness, a cure for cancer
But we never look in the right places
We can't see the answer that's in our faces

By the problems we made and never thought to avoid

We all want sex, but don't want children
So then what's left to do but kill them?
Abortions are happening all of the time
But if you hurt someone's feelings, that's a way bigger crime

People are brainwashed till they're empty shells
And nobody knows how to think for themselves
No one has hope, because hope is forbidden
In a country that's completely in love with its sin

School massacres, suicide, and AIDS
They're all problems that we've made
