The End

We're like two flowers among each other,
Together for our lives, so it may seem.
We're so close, you're like a brother,
When we're together, it's a dream.

But it's like God picked you from our garden,
Told you, you don't belong beside me.
Our relationship faltered, each others burdens,
I cried, God told you to flee.

That hug, that kiss, our love, our hope,
I can't forget us.
That drug, that resist, our angry shove, no cope,
I can't forget the stress.

Now what's left is dirt,
A place where you once belonged,
All you left, was me hurt,
Thinking I was wronged.

God placed you back beside me,
He gave us another chance.
But I got chance to see,
I got to sing, laugh and dance.

I seen the other side of the flowers,
Watched the butterflies giggle.
I watched the sun for hours,
And little worms wiggle.

Maybe you don't belong here,
Maybe I don't also.
Maybe I still love you, dear,
But with you, my world was narrow.

From the garden God picked me,
Whispering to fly.
So the world, I can see,
He turned me into a butterfly.

I still visit you,
Every once in awhile.
I see you found you happiness too,
I watch her make you smile.

So you're better now,
No long withdrawn.
I still don't know how,
But I know that life goes on.
