Colors

If you tell me the sky is blue
I’ll probably call you an idiot for pointing out the obvious
I’ll find the shades of grey
And prove you wrong for the moment

Yet if you tell me the sky is purple
I’ll look up to double check
But then I’ll look for the smallest tinge of purple
And redefine my perception of color
