A Little Bit Wrong

Tonight I took apart a computer
just to fix one tiny screw
out of place.
It reminded me of you,
how you used to talk about how people
were just delicately balanced
pieces of machinery,
working in harmony
until something went wrong.
And something always goes wrong,
you said.
But there are IT guys
for that kind of thing:
psychologists, therapists, psychiatrists.
Everyone is just a little bit wrong,
yet somehow everyone thinks
they are alone
in their brokenness.
