Staining Ink

Black ink stains,
The snow white paper.
Forming shapes,
Which form letters,
Which form words,
Which forms a letter.
Falling tears smudge the ink,
Smudges form small streams,
The snow white paper turns grey,
As the ink pollutes the paper.
A letter to a loved one,
Which will never be received.
