Monsters

The monsters are scaring
Why could that not be true?
Haven’t you noticed the beasts always glaring?
Their eyes from under your bed staring up at you

Look at that one there
Scaring people but not just that
They scare nothing and everything everywhere
But could be shocked to see a rat

The monster could be running
To who is not the key
But when it comes to being cunning
The monster’s scaring me

One upon a time monsters were scaring as much as they please
Take away that right and you’ll never again sleep with much ease

I wrote this because my aunt didnt believe me that "the monsters are scaring" was a complete sentence and she thought it had to end in "The monsters are scaring me" or "the monsters are scary." I wrote this poem to prove my point. By the way tomorrow we'll be asking my English teacher to find out for sure.
