In My Eyes.

I’m faded in this world,
Nowhere to run as time ticks away-
How does life seem simple to others
When my mind is filled with decisions to make?

I’m not your average girl;
I’m not as predictable as you think.
When life gives me lemons,
I trade them for a cup of tea

Look around and look closely
Life has become more cynical;
Self-respect is almost invisible
Time is being soaked up for fame

Our world is at its lowest low;
Trying to find its way back home
To the bright smiles and sunny skies;
I cannot believe my rejected eyes

Don’t look for answers
You will not find.
Earth is hell-
In my eyes.
