Blooming Black

I sit inside me
Mirrors rise, reflections
Surround my naked self
Laughing, taunting, mocking

Ink flows in my veins
And I bleed to free
My reflections and be
Safe, safe from my evil

And so it breaks, shatters,
The lock, keeping it hidden.
Now, it creeps, the blooming black
Rising from the darkness within.

In the mirror I stare
At my face,
It does not belong to me,
But it is me.
