From the moment we locked eyes
I couldn't take them off of you.
I saw the way you saw me smiling
and how it made you smile too.
I saw you walking up to me,
you saw me locked inside a trance,
the way your eyes would never leave me
made my heart begin to dance.
I saw you blow off other guys
as they cat called out to you,
I saw how it was all my dreams
beginning to come true.
You saw me start to shake and sweat
and get more more nervous as you come.
I saw you see my insecurities
my self confidence, there was none.
I saw how you weren't bothered
by the way I saw myself,
I saw you see deep down inside me
not my looks and not my wealth.
When you stood before me
sincerely gazing into my eyes,
I felt that I had hit the jackpot
and you were the grand prize.
I saw you see my love for you
the love that's at first sight,
you saw me looking back at you
and so you held me oh so tight.
All my fears were washed away
and i just held you in my arms,
I closed my eyes to keep the tears inside
and thanked my lucky charms.
You saw in me the things I hoped
and prayed someone would see
and you saw how it was something
that meant so much to me.
You saw me shed a tear of joy
so you whispered in my ear..
