Animals Hath Become Us

Running through the fields of old Kerry town, I'm aware of these indescribable frowns that envoy the faces of each pedestrian. Blades of grass at my feet and as I gaze upon the sky that I once thought belonged to me, I realise, this isn't what I bargained for. They say hell is a bad place, then someone like I deserve to be crowned queen there.
Don't lead me into the darkness and lie to my face, don't try and reassure me that I can combat these ghouls and demons that lie amongst me. When truly I know, I belong here so.
In the depths of unexplainable hurting, in the pits of charmers remorse. Remorse? Yes, remorse that brings us to our knees, our lungs intertwined together as our blood submerge deep into our palms full of hope for the future, for our lifelong dreams. Our lifelong goals, in achieved and battered on the streets. Waiting, just waiting for someone to come along and pretend that they understand me, to offer me a false hand, to join me on my vindictive journey.
