Clouds

Dancing on clouds,
Lights and colors alternating,
Spinning around,
Unable to ascertain the concept of reality,

The hands on the watch,
Tied on my wrist begin to spin,
Faster and faster with my happiness,
The colors and lights dim,
The clouds get dusty and start to fall apart,

My skin becomes stretched,
My heart becomes weak,
Scars start to appear,
And dark circles are under my eyes,

My spinning slows,
And my gleeful energy,
Depletes more and more,
My jumping goes to skipping,
jogging, walking, then...

I stop suddenly,
My hair grows and falls over my eyes,
I get taller and skinnier,
And my bright clothes turn gray,

The cloud I'm standing on,
Collapses underneath me,
I fall and watch the hands turn,
On my watch,
While the batteries start to die,

Seconds before I hit the ground,
A flash of lights, colors, and euphoria,
Nostalgia touches me,
Then black nothingness for eternity.
