Hell

I feel the heat upon my face,
I smell the death, I sense the hate,
I tried so hard to change my ways,
But now I have to face my fate.

The flames they dance around my feet,
Surrounded by the damned and heat,
The devil sits upon his throne,
His devil dogs chew on human bone.

Lava pits and screams of pain,
Are heard all over yet in vain,
Blood, decay and clinking chain,
Those driven mad or drove insane.

I kneel before the fire king,
He laughs and I hear the beat of wings,
Above my head fly skeletal birds,
I stare completely lost for words.

A shiver races up my spine,
A feeling which I can't define,
Pure terror, sadness within my heart,
I knew that this was just the start.

The devil clicked his fingers twice,
Shackles appeared connected to a strange device,
They weighed me down, they burnt my skin,
They washed away my rage and sin.

I lived my life doing wrong in the world,
Now finally my future is being unfurled,
I'll stay in hell for eternity,
Changing my blood from tainted to clarity!
