Water, Take Me

I jumped off of a cliff into the water.
I let the waves rush over me.
I felt free and happy for once.
No pills needed, no one with a degree

Then the storm came as I was floating,
hands come up and pull me under
I fight for my way, but its what I've been asking for.
I took a deep breath and in came the water that pulled my lungs under.

Now there is a flat line and last comes the grave
Now my body is looking for someone to save.
My heart has a new owner
they place me body on the concrete and light me to flames.
Then gather my ashes into can.
Now I forever live in my back yard and I am a rose.

My memory haunts them and now their sad
they realize that I wasn't what I showed them.
Now they know.
Die young , become a rose.
Die old and become nothing.
Just make sure you're pretty.
