Let Reign

Somber tears black as tar,
skin the shade of snow;
a hardened heart thick as stone,
the beat of which never echoes.

Not a name by which to be called,
never a voice that even dare whisper;
eyes the absence of light,
abysmal to beautiful day.

Frigid fingertips cold as ice,
with touch comes end of life;
winter winds the song of new,
with spring comes life renewed.

Fallen worlds rain tears of acid,
fertile sands the inevitable poison.

Bodies riddled with pain,
the infection of war reigns;
judgement laid to those undeserving,
a new world order begins.

Lady death have mercy,
on the innocent and the ill;
in a world plagued with wrongdoing,
we the people take to heart your will.
