We're Only Teens

Come on Elders give us a break,
Soon our childhood will waste away,
Boys with jeans halfway down there backsides,
Girls with mini skirts and acting unladylike,
It’s the influence, who set the trends,
We’re not just following our friends,
The influence is the public, don’t shout at us,
It’s what everyone these days does,
Blame us for the drugs and crimes,
Like we’re the ones who set the times,
We may wear hoods and look mean,
But, lay off Elders we’re only teens!
