The Devil's Wings

You take a step back and realize what you done
You think about where you might of gone wrong
You think about who's still around and who's gone
You think about keeping your head up,
yeah ill stay strong
Yet i get pushed back against the ropes
Just trying to cope with reality
Just hoping for no more tragedy
Praying to god who i can not just see
Looking down on a kid only filled with greed
My prayers just don't seem to mean nothing
Fronting to the world that always misleads
Just only keeps on taunting while i say lord, please
Its a fight you just cant win
whispers i hear saying kid you got too many sins
now will the lord forgive me or have i lost my wings
i'm truly sorry for all these things
As i look at this mirror with these eyes that are red
Blood and tears of all who i hurt and they have shed
The regret and pain that i now fear
fallowed me across the world to be here
but right before i snap and break
right before i give up and feel as if its too late
i feel her touch saying its okay..
