Oklahoma Terror

I'm a southern California girl

the suns all we get

and when it rains...

it just makes things wet.

I don't know the terror ....

of tornado weather.

The large hail

lightning and rain

doesn't just stop

it comes again and again.

The whipping winds of a swirling vortex...

ravages through towns destroying homes in sets.

I see it on the news, but I don't know what its like,

all I can do is pray and hope for a light,

to brighten that city and end the freight.

Children, women, men a like .......

lost to this monster....lost the fight..

God now holds them....

holds them tight.

He calmly whispers, "Your okay now, you're alright."
