A New World

There is a new world dawning.
Can't you feel it in the air?
Between the dark clouds a light shining
Through all of this sadness and despair.

There is a brighter day beginning,
Can't you see it in the beauty of life?
Looks of hope and faith in trying times,
All praying there will be no more strife.

There is happiness in days to come.
I can feel it in my own heart.
God has a special plan for our world,
And we are only waiting for it to start.
