Desperation . . .
The feeling of hopelessness,
Being willing to try almost anything,
Just to achieve whatever it may be.
That you're longing so much for.

Desperation . . .
The state of being desperate;
Rashness rising out of despair;
Nearly hopeless;
Grave;
Overpowering;
Intense;
Reckless or violent because of despair;

Desperation . . .
Depending on what you're being so desperate about,
It may be able to steal your life away.
Well, it could be anything really,
If you're desperate enough.
It can creep up on you,
And little by little,
You're life will no longer be at your control.
You will be at desultory's right hand.
Life will seem pointless,
The only thing you'll live for will be,
Only for the one thing you desire most.

Desperation . . .
The kill of life's thrill.
The murderer of friendship and love.
The murderer of socialness and trust.
The murderer to us all.
