People Never Come Around

people never come around.
there’s always blood shed and
battles fought
never mere debates

things just don’t get better
they are made
without much help
from the oppressors

so when ppl say
“oh, they’ll come around”
“it gets better”
it’s hard to think of what
pain and suffering will come about

til then.
