When I'm gone

When I'm gone
You'll miss the way
I said
I love you, when
You acted like a dork.

The way I helped
With HTML Code
And the flowing
Of words
From pen to paper,
Fingers to keys.

You'll miss the way I
Knew how to do something
In practice,
But couldn't for the life of me
Explain it
To you.

You'll miss
The quiet turning of pages
Curled in an armchair
Or bed,
And the outbursts
Of a lost page.

You'll kiss all these things
And everything I'd say,
But still, you couldn't
Convince me
To stay.

I wrote this for my creative writing class and my teacher put it into the schools literary magazine, so I thought I'd share it.
