Hannah

Your eyes tell a story of life that has past;
Your heart sings a song of love;
Your arms hold passion and care inside;
Though I can’t say you’re as subtle as a dove.

You stand up for those who you care about;
Your laughter spreads happiness around;
I can tell you any secrets of mine;
And I’ll know they’ll be safe and sound.

You’re my best friend and my sister;
Even though you talk me to sleep;
And although you’re a pain in the bum sometimes;
You’re the sister that I want to keep.

You have matured to be a beautiful young lady;
Except you've not grown much in height, you see;
But that doesn't stop you from being a wonderful person;
And that I’m sure everyone will agree.

Twenty-one years you've been on this earth;
And I still have lots to say;
But the last thing I say to you for now;
Is that I wish you a magnificent birthday!

This poem does have some personal jokes in that exist only between my sister and I so some of it may not make sense.
