Darkness

While the darkness devours the very life from her lungs.
When her thoughts seem to be nothing but speaking in tongues.
As her god fades away and the light starts to dim
Her small mind changes, from happy to grim.
Innocence shattered, by the very man who was there.
She lost her sanity, lost everyone who should care.
