Collision

All of the sickness inside
As both broken muscles and hearts collide
For these pivitol days I must set these dilemmas aside
I must swim to shore for my precious ship has sunken
This ocean I have created
The tidal wave has now escalated
She goes now abroad to a sea so faraway our love cannot be
At three I shifted in bed
Worries my thoughts have constantly read
A wise soul said, you can do it
I now demand of them to prove it
Unfortunately, I no longer command a ship
For I am merely a cripple swimming with a foot
This devil has shot my heart many times
Yet I still bleed a puddle of blood
One might say eventually I would fall with a thud
But what is the point? Yes I must rebuild a joint, yet a woman of great tender stands beneath the moonlight
And before she is of mine
I must sail through waves of darkness to cross this line
Once i have made the journey
And have left the stumbles behind
It will have been truly worth the struggle
