There I Hang

I look down to see my feet dangling above the ground
As I try to look up my head falls back down.

I can feel it in my eyes...as my heart faintly pounds
as I gasp for breath, my neck bound.

I feel my body sway as the wind sifts my cares away

And there I hang

With an excruciating pain of oxygen depravation to the brain
I guess this is it, I've finally been slain...

And there I hang

My thoughts fade out like the light of day with the last of my energy
I think heavily upon thoughts that feel heavenly.

Tho the cause of this was the devil in me
