Beauty Queen [Father-Daughter]

Almond eyes and heart-shaped lips
She is my little beauty queen
When she cries, my ears get ripped
But her smile is my relief.

Barbie dolls and tiny tea sets
Are my little girl's hapiness
But what she knows not is
She overjoys me the best.

Years,I had not notice, passed by
And my baby's all grown up
Foolish boys began to pry
And they seemed to never stop.

My baby gave one lad a chance
And boy was he enthralled
They spent their days and nights alike
Which left ol' me, lone and sad.

Blissful nights they shared together
And I was left to wonder
About what would become of me
If ever she'll leave, my little beauty queen.

One day she came, with twinkling eyes
She shone just like the stars in the sky
But what I had noticed most
Was the hand that she rose.

There, a diamond ring circling her finger
And I thought I was to die
But my baby, my bliss, held me nearer
Then I knew I had cried.

Time seemed to play tricks on me
For not even later, we were in church
My heart ached, I could hardly breathe
Letting her go was going to hurt.

In a white dress, she was an angel
Oh my little beauty queen
"I will hold you in my heart forever
You will always be a part of me."
