Have you ever had a dream where your loved one is taken
It felt so real that you just had to reawaken
Or what about a dream where you’re shot in the head
You wake up to find blood on the sheets because your nose bled

Dreams can be so real and scare you half to death
To the point where you’re shaken and have to catch your breath
But what about those dreams that make you want to stay asleep
So far down to where you don’t make a peep

How about dreaming of having a child with the person that’s beloved
Now that’s a dream that you would have loved
Or maybe a dream about being rich
That’s a dream that would make you want to sing in perfect pitch
