The 5th Verse of Spring
As leaves wither and crumble to dust
The feeling for new light and spring is a must
The dusk of the winter, the dawning of spring
A season of new-borns and dewdrops that sing
Waking from slumber and winter-bred sleep
Through the cracks of the egg and the nest, new eyes peep
As gentle as sunlight, as calm as the sea
The peak of a flower; the size of a tree
Yet under the moonlight, below the blue shade
The pleasure of lustre comes forthwith to aid…
The feeling for new light and spring is a must
The dusk of the winter, the dawning of spring
A season of new-borns and dewdrops that sing
Waking from slumber and winter-bred sleep
Through the cracks of the egg and the nest, new eyes peep
As gentle as sunlight, as calm as the sea
The peak of a flower; the size of a tree
Yet under the moonlight, below the blue shade
The pleasure of lustre comes forthwith to aid…
