An Angel Woke Me
One night I went to sleep,
a nightmare began and creeped
as I dreamed.
Locked inside of fear and
harm, I wouldn't wake
to this alarm.
I screamed, I shook, I could
not wake.
An angel came for my
sake.
She gently laid her arm on mine and help/grasped my hand
to my charm.
I awoke to a gentle light,
streamed through my window
so bright.
Bathed in warmth filled
with love.
A pink of due is what
I recall.
Safe and warm, I felt at
peace.
I thank God and heaven
from above, all the angels
with love, thank you.
Thank you for with all my
heart, this memory,
this faith, this heart & hope ; and serenity
for my soul.
