Alone

I’m crying,
I’m screaming,
Your face haunts my mind.
Laughter rings in my ears,
My hair falls out at the seams.

On the floor.
Back and forth,
My heartbreaks
Words ring in my head.
The tears drop like a waterfall.

A day that is remembered like a nightmare.
An ache felt like an earthquake.
A heart torn to pieces.
A girl shattered on the floor.

A phone call broken.
Words were spoken.
My mind numb with pain
Laughter nowhere to be found.

She cries.
All alone in a cold empty house.
Her life just turned around.
Darkness seeped into her mind.

Comfort. A longing comfort.
Hope. That is all a dream.
A bitter truth.
That she knows.

Memories are flashed through her mind.
Time seems to unwind.
Distraught and alone
She picks herself up to help her broken mind.
