Gay And Proud Of It

You try to hurt me,
I see those attemps to insult.
I laugh in my corner.
You work so hard for no result.
Those things that you've written on the back of your hand,
They are meaningless.
Do you even understand?
You cant change me.
This is how I was born.
I am who I am.
I used to be weak.
Cry alone in the darkness of my closet.
Now I have someone who holds my hand.
You call me strange, awful and fag.
But then I laugh at your face;
Who's got your back?
I kiss who I want,
The ones I truly love.
No more being like others;
Cuddling strangers drunk.
Next time you lie about me using nailpolish,
I will just turn my cheek.
I am a man.
And that story is shit.
I am different, unique.
A gay and proud of it!
