Two Sides of a Coin
Light and dark
Dark and light
The two seem to always
Be in a fight
Two sides of a coin;
Like fire and ice
Like earth and air
No gain without sacrifice
Someone is born
Another one dies
It is the great cycle
Filled with laughter and lies
There will be times
Of hardship and sorrow;
And happiness and smiles
For a new tomorrow
But these two sides
Reside within us all
We may try to fight or disguise it
But this could only lead to a brawl
Never hide behind lies,
Always be thoughtful
The truth can come out
With a push or a pull
It is up to you
Which way this goes
Choose the right one:
For what you fear always knows
Dark and light
The two seem to always
Be in a fight
Two sides of a coin;
Like fire and ice
Like earth and air
No gain without sacrifice
Someone is born
Another one dies
It is the great cycle
Filled with laughter and lies
There will be times
Of hardship and sorrow;
And happiness and smiles
For a new tomorrow
But these two sides
Reside within us all
We may try to fight or disguise it
But this could only lead to a brawl
Never hide behind lies,
Always be thoughtful
The truth can come out
With a push or a pull
