Here in the City of Dreams

You walk a winding road of hope to the City of Dreams,
A place where no-one ever goes and nothing's as it seems.
Your mind can rest and sleep for while, nothing can go wrong,
Your brain hurts and bones ache, your journey here was long.
Perhaps if you wake up on this hour you'll have another life,
One where no one knows you and you'll never think twice.
But instead you sleep on, descending through the stars,
Your mind is calm, relaxed and clean as you travel far.
Once on land you can do what you want and whatever you please,
As there are no limits or rules to follow here in the City of Dreams.
